November 2022 Holy Communion Service

Ministering: Pastor Adeboye
Theme: Let It Rain
Text: 1 Corinthians 11:23-25

• Rain comes from above in drops.
• Even in John 6:49, we see manner falling from heaven, in drops.
• Jesus came as the bread of life, even as a whole man. He came from heaven.
• The bread, symbolic of himself, was broken in pieces before it was served as communion.

• Tonight as we take the bread which is symbolic of the body of Christ, we are taking a drop of the rain from heaven.
• In Acts 2:1-4, when the Holy Ghost came at Pentecost, He landed on each person as cloven tongues of fire, with little bits landing on everyone.
• In order to symbolize and connect Pentecost with the rain, the fire was preceded by a wind, the same wind that precedes the rain. They received drops of power.

• As you take communion tonight, you will receive a drop of power.
• Whatever gift of the Holy Spirit I desire and need at a particular moment, God releases it to me, a drop at a time.
• Don’t miss tomorrow’s service, because we will pray tomorrow and the rain will fall!
• Rain heals and revives. Job 14:9
• Tonight, you will take a little bit of the bread, the body of the One who came down from Heaven, and a little sip of the wine, symbolizing the blood of the One who came down from heaven.

Salvation Call:
• Remember, communion is a sacred meal, and it cannot be taken unworthily. So, If you have not given your life to Christ, come and do so now so you can partake of the body and the blood of Jesus.

Prayer Points
• When you drink the wine, cry to God for a fresh drop of power from heaven, so that you will leave here far more anointed, more than when you came in.
