Text: 1 Kings 19:4-8
Elijah lifted up his eyes to the Helper of the helpless, the Hope of the hopeless.
Elijah was so tired that he fell asleep. He forgot about the person chasing him.
The Almighty God reached out to Elijah and gave him sleep.
- No matter how low you are, God still loves you.
- God fed Him. Isaiah 55:1
- God gave him water to drink. John 7:37-39
- When God feeds you, He takes care of all your needs. 1 Peter 2:24
When God feeds you, He takes care of your
1) Physical needs,
2) Mental needs; 1 Peter 5:7
This meal takes care of your memory problems.
3) Spiritual needs; John 21:1-17
Have you been failing God in your ministry? There’s a new beginning for you.
- When God feeds you, He gives you power to press on till the very end. Philippians 3:12-14
As we come to the table tonight, we want to lift our eyes to Him. He will begin to lift you up until you see Him in glory.
Salvation Call:
Do not eat the Holy Communion if you are not a child of God.
If you are not sure of your salvation, please give your life to Jesus now.
Prayer Points
- As you take the bread, pray that everything causing you concern, everything you are worried about, will vanish permanently tonight.
- As you drink the wine, pray for strength to last you for the rest of your journey to heaven.
