Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Theme: Let It Rain
Text: Ecclesiastes 11: 1-3
¤ The basic ingredient of rain is the cloud. 1 Kings 18: 41-45
• When God wants to stop the rain, He talks to the clouds. Isaiah 5:6
• When you’re asking God for rain, you’re asking Him to start with bright clouds.
Zechariah 10:1
• Therefore, two people control the rains:
☆ God. 1 Kings 8:35, Amos 4:7
☆ You. Ecclesiastes 11:3
• How you load your cloud will determine the kind of rain you get.
If you load it on a daily basis, rain will fall daily.
If you load it massively, the rain will fall massively.
• You can compel your rain by loading your cloud.
- The widow of Zarephath loaded her cloud by feeding the prophet. 1 Kings 17: 8-16
- Solomon loaded his cloud by offering sacrifices to God. 2 Chronicles 1: 6-15
• As soon as the cloud is emptied of rain, the rain will stop falling. 2 Corinthians 9:6
• Wise people have learned this secret:
They keep loading their clouds.
• As you load your cloud, so shall your rain be.
Salvation Call
If you haven’t given your life to Jesus, cry unto God for mercy. Tell Him you surrender your life to Him, ask that He would wash you clean with the Blood of Jesus and save your soul.
Prayer Point
• Father, teach me to be generous. And let my rain begin to pour in showers.
