Topic: Exceeding Expectations
Text: Exodus 26: 16-17
- Isaac was much mightier than the nation where he was residing.
He wasn’t just mightier than the nation, he was much mightier. - Many of us can have enough faith to believe that we can be the richest in our nation.
- But few people can believe that they’ll be so rich, they will be greater than a nation.
Lessons to learn from Isaac:
▪︎ Obedience. Genesis 26: 1-6, Isaiah 1:19, 2 Kings 4: 1-7
▪︎The power of the law of harvest. Genesis 26: 12-14, Galatians 6:7
Isaac was well brought up, and he accepted the upbringing. Genesis 18: 17-19
From his father, he learnt:
▪︎The power of the first fruit sacrifice. Genesis 22: 1-18
▪︎ The power of total surrender.
▪︎ That you must put God first above all things.
▪︎You don’t appear before God empty handed. Exodus 23:15, Genesis 22: 6-8
▪︎ You should pay your tithes; Abraham was the first ever to pay tithes. Genesis 14: 18-20, Malachi 3:10
Salvation Call
