September 2025 Thanksgiving Service
Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Topic: Divine Mercy
Text: Matthew 5:7
According to James 2:13, we learn that mercy triumphs over judgment.
-Judgement is when you get what you deserve.
-Mercy is when you get what you don’t deserve.
-Divine mercy means mercy from God.
-In Ephesians 2:4, God describes Himself as rich in mercy. The power of the mercy of God is difficult to quantify.
-Lamentations 3:1–3 tells us that it is by God’s mercy that we are not consumed.
-Romans 9:15–21 reminds us that it is not by our human efforts but…
If God withdraws His mercy, it would have consequences.
We learn from the story of Ephraim and Manasseh about how God had favoured Ephraim specially and gave him a double blessing, but he later began to draw away from God.

In Hosea 4:17, we see that God left Ephraim alone after he refused to repent, and by Hosea 5:9, Ephraim had become desolate.
Please do not wait till it is too late. There is Divine Mercy available for you.
Salvation Call:
Surrender to Jesus now, and remain in His Kingdom till His second coming. Jesus is waiting for you today.
If you haven’t given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.
Prayer Point:
Father, have mercy on me!
