Text: 1 Samuel 17:34-51

David had comprehensive victories in every facet of life.

Victory Over the Lion and Bear:
David had a victory over a lion. 1 Samuel 17:34-51
A lion represents a boss who can oppress you until you become nothing; a boss who hates you particularly because you want to do the will of God.

David also defeated the bear:

One of the ways a bear can kill its victim is to hug life out of it. A bear can be someone who pretends to love you but tries to prevent you from reaching your goal. Genesis 39:7-2

Anyone who pretends to be your friend and wants you to sin against God so that the plan of God for your life will not be fulfilled, today, the God I serve will deal with such a fellow.**

Victory Over Goliath and Household Enemies:

David defeated Goliath. 1 Samuel 16:11-13
God had anointed David to be king over Israel.
Goliath represents someone who knows that God has a great plan for you, but doesn’t want you to reach the throne and wants to take it away.

David also had victory over his father-in-law. Matthew 10:36
Some enemies are our relatives and are difficult to deal with.

Victory Over Poverty and Barrenness:

David had a victory over poverty. He was an ordinary shepherd boy, but by the time God finished with him, he was wealthy enough to provide everything for the building of God’s temple—a wonder in those days. 1 Chronicles 22:6-16

In the mighty name of the All-Sufficient God, I decree concerning you: Very soon, anything you want to do for God, God will make it easy for you.

David never had problems with barrenness:
He gave birth to Solomon, who became the wisest of men.

The Secret of Comprehensive Victory:
David had comprehensive victories because he made up his mind to do the will of God. Acts 13:22-23. If all you’ve been doing is pretending to do the will of God, change your mind today.

The victory that God will give to those who will do all His will is comprehensive victory.
