September 2025 Holy Ghost Service
Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Topic: Children of Destiny
God has a timetable for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1–8), but because He is sovereign, He has the right to change ‘not yet’ to now. (John 2:1–12)
Lessons to learn from Isaac:
- Isaac teaches us that God is never too late. (Habakkuk 2:4)
- God can reverse the irreversible.
- God can turn sorrow to joy.
- God can change defeat into victory.
Every child is made for a purpose, and the purpose is to please God. (Revelation 4:11, Esther 4:13–16)

When everyone unites in praising God, He will perform miracles that will frighten people. God hates barrenness because it contradicts the very first blessing, which was also a decree; ‘Be fruitful’ wasn’t advice; it was a decree.
God is the Potter, we are clay. He has a special love for firstborns. (Numbers 3:13, Romans 8:29) A lack of understanding limits our faith. God can use anyone for His purpose. Moses and David weren’t firstborns.
-You are made for a purpose.
-We are all children of destiny.
-God has a purpose for your life.
